by Victoria Ward
Zara and Mike Tindall are using Apple AirTags to keep tabs on their children.
The family of five were at the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire on Saturday to watch Mrs Tindall competing.
The Tindalls’ elder daughter Mia, who is 10, was photographed with a small silver AirTag attached to her shorts.

The gadgets, launched in 2021, are designed to help owners keep track of valuables such as phones, keys and bags, but parents increasingly use them to keep tabs on their children, particularly those too young to have mobile phones.
Boisterous Mia has often been photographed tearing around at equestrian events.

She was pictured taking photographs of her father on Saturday, while her younger siblings, Lena, six, and three-year-old Lucas larked around in the grass.
At one point, Mr Tindall was forced to step in to break up a play fight between the pair.
The Burghley Horse Trials take place annually at Burghley House, Stamford, and attract big crowds. The three-day event is a comprehensive test of a horse’s skills, with dressage, jumping, and cross country events all taking place.
Mrs Tindall, an Olympic medalist, was competing in the cross country section on her horse, Class Affair. She took a fall on the course but was not hurt.

The King’s niece, who won a silver medal in the team equestrian event at the London 2012 Games, slipped out of the saddle near the end of the course after a good start.
Her brother, Peter Phillips was also at the event with his new girlfriend, Harriet Sperling. Lucas was spotted clambering on his uncle’s back before enjoying an ice cream.

It came after Mrs Tindall hailed her mother, the Princess Royal, for teaching her the importance of “good-quality clothing” as she unveiled a collection of raincoats.
She is the new face of a collaboration by Musto and Fairfax & Favor, which has designed the jackets, ranging in price from £350 (AU$687) to £450 (AU$883).
